About Us
Queens County is comprised of 50 unique communities spanning 1000 square kilometres, our geography dotted with powerful rivers, pristine lakes and islands delivering stunning coastlines and our signature silver sand beaches.
Our population of 10,500, consists of permanent and summer residents many gravitating to our most densely populated areas such as Liverpool, Milton and Brooklyn. Liverpool is uniquely positioned as an events hosting hub within the Region as well Nova Scotia.
Accessible in under 2 hours to a captive audience exceeding 600,000 people encompassing Yarmouth, the Annapolis Valley and Halifax, with timely access to Halifax Stanfield International Airport, our Region has hosted so many amazing events over the years.
We boast prime hosting venues from the largest to most intimate. Take Liverpool direct for example: the historic Astor Theatre, expansive 3 acre Privateer Waterfront Park and one of Nova Scotia's finest multi-purpose venues Queens Place Emera Centre.

What is our secret to success as an events community?
We know it's evident in the quality, in the execution and delivery of events to each and every resident or visitor because you've told us! As well its proven in the impacts: community pride, social & economic, exposure locally-provincially-nationally and across the world!
We are proud of our not for profit event organizers, business supporters and our amazing volunteers and we realize collaboration is the key to our success...always stronger together!
