Queens Place Emera Centre is the hub of major event activity in Queens. Considered by spectators, promoters and event rights holders to be the premier multi purpose venue regionally and across rural NS. and  experienced at hosting major events including  Curling Canada, Hockey Canada, high level figure skating to concerts and conventions ,this is the place to host! Sport Tourism Canada is an organization with the goal to increase Canada's capacity to attract and host sport tourism events. CSTA offers advice and resources through their web page and media platforms follow them.

Bringing Atlantic Canadian cities and destinations together to strengthen the spirit of collaboration in event hosting. Event Atlantic members are experiences in hosting and can offer great insight into planning and opportunities.

In relation to Queens Place Emera Centre, Emergency Health Services (ambulance) are located 700 M away, RCMP Detachment - Liverpool Fire Department and Queens General Hospital with a 2.3 KM radius.
